Are Young People Really Happy Doing Nothing and Having Everything?

In the modern way of living, we think young people are lazy, doing nothing and relying on others to provide everything for them. But we can also disagree with this idea. While this may be true for a few, most young people work hard and face many challenges.

Why This Isn’t True?

1.School Takes a Lot of Time and Effort

Many youngsters spend a lot of time studying, doing homework, and preparing for exams. School alone takes up most of their time and energy, if they want to become someone in their future.

2.Jobs Are Hard to Get

Most jobs today require high qualifications and even experience, which is hard for young people who are just starting out. Finding a job is not as easy as it might seem.

3.Life Is Expensive

Even if parents help, life is expensive. Many young people can’t live on a low-paying job. Rent, food, and transportations cost a lot and it’s hard to manage without a good salary.

4.Some Start Working Early

Not all young people are lazy. Many start working part-time jobs as early as 15 or 16, balancing school and work. They show responsibility and commitment.

5.Volunteering Is Hard Work Too

Some young people don’t have time for a job because they spend it volunteering. This is just as valuable as paid work, particularly  for the soul of everyone involved, and helps society in many ways.

A Real-Life Example

Greta Thunberg is only one of many great examples. As a teenager, she didn’t spend her time relaxing. She worked hard to raise awareness about Climate Change and started a global movement. Her story shows that young people can make a huge difference.

Conclusion

The idea that young people are lazy having quite everything is not true. Many of them work hard, whether in school, at jobs, or through volunteering. They face real challenges and deserve recognition for their efforts.
